| Golf Digest names P.B. Dye Golf Club as 26th Toughest Course in America
In its' March 2007 edition, Golf Digest has voted Maryland's P.B. Dye Golf Club as the 26th Toughest Golf Course in America. The article was titled "America's 50 Toughest Courses."
In the article, golf course architect P.B. Dye, son of the famous course architect Pete Dye, was quoted as saying "I'm a golfer's worst nightmare– a bulldozer operator with a scratch handicap and an Irish sense of humor."
" We are honored to be rated along with some of America’s top golf courses" said Pro Shop Manager Stuart Kelman. Some other famous courses that made the list were Winged Foot, TPC at Sawgrass, Pine Valley, Pinehurst No. 2, Medinah, and Whistling Straits. "P.B. Dye Golf Club is a course that will truly test all aspects of your golf game. You can't let one round out here bring you down. You learn with each round and your scores will improve the more you play out here. It is an honor to call P.B. Dye Golf Club ‘home’."
