Lessons at PB Dye
Practice Facility
The practice facilities at PB Dye Golf Club include a range, putting green, and chipping green. The expansive practice range offers a large teeing area with natural grass and artificial grass mats. Featuring the same fast G-2 bent grass as the greens on the course, the large practice putting green offers flat and undulated surfaces that replicate conditions encountered on the course. Similarly, the chipping green is a well-designed area to practice chipping and pitching from closely-mowed collection areas and green-side rough.
Golf Instruction
PB Dye offers private and semi-private golf lessons and golf clinics. Separate group clinics and camps are offered for business executives, women, juniors, and families. Exhibitions and clinics provide instruction and entertainment for corporate, association, not-for-profit, and social golf events and outings. All of our lessons are taught by our General Manager, Billy Cullum and Assistant Golf Professional, Kevin Bootz.
Billy Cullum recently accepted the position of General Manger at PB Dye Golf Club and comes here with a very impressive resume. After playing professionally on the Hogan and Canadian Tours, Billy accepted a position at the Philadelphia Cricket Club as their Teaching Professional. Since then he worked at various facilities including Augusta National Golf Club, Maidstone Country Club, Old Marsh Country Club, and most recently as a Head Golf Professional for the Baltimore County Golf System.
Kevin Bootz comes to us from from Perry Hall, MD and where he was a fantastic High School player having lettered for 3 years. He went on to attend San Diego Golf Academy of the Carolinas. Kevin graduated in December 2007, and has earned the position of Assistant Golf Professional.
